Florida Farms to Food is Medicine Clients: Meet your new consumers purchasing at Fair Market Value

Webinar goal:
Align, connect, and activate food + Florida farm businesses (packer/hubs/food suppliers/local farmers) with new revenue/income streams for their business at full market value by connecting with our food is medicine program clients in our 8 regional networks of excellence.  Share Florida Farm products rendering health in our clients with FL farmers,  packers, enterprises who sell through to the entire East Coast trucking routes: Maine to Florida.

Start Conversations, Connect Business Partners & Collaborators
As we enter a new year 2026 with new and different funding food streams arising, we forecast new revenue entering for Florida farm fresh fruits & vegetables market- from consumer demand.  Some demand-side incentives are expected for 2026 to keep an eye out for include: 

  • SNAP cards with limits on sugar, incentives on F&V (likely)
  • Sustainable grocery store incentives in the shape of prepaid cards with discounts on F&V via SNAP+ SSBI
  • CSA shares, "MAHA Boxes" sold direct to consumer with possible incentives like SSBCI Medicare Advantage cards
  • Packing house/food hubs are hot for funding at County & Foundation & Feeding Florida
  • Mobile Farmstand markets in rural and urban food deserts 
  • Cuts to farm commodities purchasing at USDA -TANF & CSFP
  • Florida FDACS funded $28M FL to buy farm commodities milk, beef, F&V  at pick & pack price
  • Regenerative Farming practices boost nutrition content, FIM food.
